6 levels of icy adventure — stomp, swim, ride, and survive!
🖥 Installation (Mac)
- Download PenguinPlatformer-mac.zip from the download button above.
- Unzip the file — you'll get a folder called mac-arm64.
- Open that folder and right-click → Open the
PenguinPlatformerfile.
(Right-click is required the first time — macOS Gatekeeper asks for confirmation once.) - The game window will open at 1024×600. Enjoy!
Requires Apple Silicon Mac (M1/M2/M3/M4). If you're on an Intel Mac, message the developer for an Intel build.
🪟 Installation (Windows)
- Download PenguinPlatformer-windows.zip from the download button above.
- Right-click the zip → Extract All… — you'll get a folder called win-x64.
- Open that folder and double-click PenguinPlatformer.exe.
- If Windows SmartScreen appears ("Windows protected your PC"), click
More info → Run anyway.
(This happens because the exe isn't commercially code-signed — it's safe to proceed.) - The game window will open at 1024×600. Enjoy!
Requires 64-bit Windows 10 or later. No installation or .NET download required — everything is bundled.
🎮 Controls
🎯 Objective
Reach the golden star goal pole at the end of each level without running out of lives. You start with 3 lives. You lose a life by falling into a hole or taking two hits (first hit shrinks you — find the glowing fish to grow back!).
🗺 The 6 Levels
Level 1 — Icy Tundra
Classic platforming. Watch for holes in the ground and ground-bursting Poppers. Walruses patrol every platform.
Level 2 — Stormy Ice Fields
Cracked ice platforms that crumble after 3 seconds. Giant Whales need 2 stomps to defeat. More holes, faster pace.
Level 3 — Deep Ocean 🌊
Fully underwater! Penguin slowly sinks — tap Space to swim upward. Sharks patrol the deep. Reach the launch pad to blast out!
Level 4 — Arctic Tundra 🐻❄️
Find the Polar Bear and jump on its back to ride it. Press Space to have the bear eat nearby enemies. Watch out for Seals and Walruses.
Level 5 — Cliffside Winds 🦅
Eagles swoop through the air — stomp them from above. Narwhals guard the ground and need 2 stomps (like Whales). Carry your bear here if you finished Level 4 mounted!
Level 6 — Arctic Summit ⭐ FINAL
All enemy types at once under a stunning aurora sky. The hardest level. Every enemy is faster and holes are wider. Survive to the end and win!

✨ Power-ups
🐟 Regular Fish
One is hidden on each level. If you're small, it grows you back to full size. If you're already big, it grants an extra life. Always worth finding!
🌈 Rainbow Fish — RARE POWERUP!
Once per level, a rainbow fish falls from the sky at a random location.
It blinks fast and disappears after 5 seconds — grab it quickly!
Collecting it gives you 12 seconds of rainbow invincibility:
you kill every enemy you touch, can't take damage, and blink with a colorful aura.
A rainbow timer bar shows at the top of the screen.
